We've decided to skip BrickMagic next year, as we pursue other exciting LEGO-related opportunities in 2013. But stay tuned for details on our 2014 event soon.

BrickMagic schedule change

We've just posted our updated schedule for public days, with a couple of minor Workshop changes.

Minifigure MASTER CLASS added

JUST ADDED: Minifigure Master Class
($10 fee to attend, held Saturday at 4:30 only)

Take your minifigure customizing to the next level in this intensive,
1-hour advanced private session with Jared K. Burks. To cover costs of materials, there is an additional $10 fee to attend the Master Class (pay at the HELP DESK; limited to 25 participants), which includes:

• Minifigure
• Decal Set
• Extra Minifigure Accessory (Bone)
• Sculpting tool
• Small amount of clay
• Tweezers
• Application Swabs
• Advanced application instructions
• Painting Techniques (dry brush, crevice painting, splatter)
• Q&A session
• Suggestions for furthering your Minifigure Zombie creation

(NOTE: Jared Burks will also offer a FREE beginners workshop at BrickMagic, held twice per day, limited to 50 people per workshop. To attend that FREE workshop, you must draw a free raffle ticket, 30 miniutes prior to the workshop, at the HELP DESK for your chance to attend. All other BrickMagic programming is included in your admission price, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis, and no tickets needed.)

We've just posted the complete list of BrickMagic programming for the public days, as well as the final Program Book for this year's event.

Star Wars characters at BrickMagic 2012

At this year's BrickMagic LEGO Festival, courtesy of the 501st Legion, there'll be authentically costumed Star Wars characters (Darths Vader and Maul, Storm Troopers, and others) appearing for photo ops with the public, and they'll be helping us auction off several custom Star Wars LEGO creations, with proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. So help spread the word about this auction and the worthy cause it supports!
